About Us

The National Ledger, LLC (TNL) is a new media independent news publication. Our mission is to provide an eclectic mix of breaking news, pop culture, political commentary, crime beat stories, sports and analysis that is designed to give our consumers the opportunity to form opinions on the issues of the day.

TNL is designed as an educational effort with that mission in mind.

The National Ledger is designed to bring our news consumers information that affects people's every day lives. Each day TNL editors and contributors will present news stories, commentary and news analysis on a variety of issues of interest.

Our contributors range in age from 16-82 and everywhere in between. They write on their opinions and their interests on a wide variety of subjects from politics to sports and from news to humor and pop culture.

Our home office is in Phoenix, Arizona but our unique contributors are scattered across North America and offer their own unique perspective on the issues of the day.

Each day, TNL will include analysis and coverage of the day's politics, along with issues of pop culture and the crime beat issues of the day. If it is of interest, TNL will provide original news stories and analysis on the breaking stories.

Our publication wishes to provoke old-fashioned independent critical thinking with our presentation of news stories, commentary and external links that reside within these pages.

Our editorial goal is independent analysis from our publisher, the editors, and our contributors.

Our news goal is accurate reporting. While remaining fiercely independent, we strive for accuracy. If you feel a story has an error or omission please e-mail the editors and let us know. Our staff and our editors are always interested in your opinion and your thoughts.

TNL uses new media technology to provide our consumers the opportunity to communicate with contributors. Each piece of commentary offers a method of direct communication with the author at the bottom of each page. TNL encourages our readers to provide feedback on every facet of our publication.

TNL is published each weekday, and the site is updated continuously throughout the day with exclusive material and links to stories the editors find of interest. Our goal is to provide an educational, thought provoking tool from our independent publication's various sections.
