Kanye West: MTV Doesn't Care About Me and Britney Spears

Another brave moment for Kanye West.  The rapper extraordinaire is a tad upset with the evil of MTV and he is speaking out.  It appears that this time he believes that MTV doesn't care about Kanye or fallen pop tart Britney Spears.  Where's that Mike Meyers blank stare (remember that George Bush moment) when you need it?

"Man, they were just trying to get ratings, and they knew she wasn't ready and they exploited her," West said this morning on Sirius Satellite Radio program 'The Morning Mash Up'. "They exploited her, they played me and I really don't mess with MTV," he said.  Oh the humanity!  Can Kanye save Britney's career?

Could be.  She certainly bailed MTV out of the ratings doldrums with her sad performance that led off the MTV Video music awards last Sunday.  The show drew 7.1 million viewers, up 23% from last year.  But they won't have Mr. West to kick around anymore.  Kanye West has vowed to boycott MTV. His anger stems from not winning any of the five MTV Awards he was nominated for this year.

50 Cent tossed two of his cents into the mix.  He said he believes West is just jealous of all the attention Spears has been receiving. He tells American idol judge and radio host Ryan Seacrest: "(West) was upset, he's not used to being recognized. Period. "Kanye expressed that he felt that Britney shouldn't be actually opening the show - almost like he forgot that Britney Spears sold 50 million records."

After the VMA's Kanye threw a temper tantrum as he was again shut out of the awards show. Britney was reportedly in tears and was so upset with her looks she was overheard saying she looked like a fat pig in her outfit, reports Us Weekly magazine.
