Jamie Lynn Spears seems to have been abandoned by her family as mom and dad gather around big sister Britney Spears. The key for Jamie and Lynne Spears is to get Britney well again, and they seem to be working very hard to get Britney's career jump started as well and it appears they are looking to television for that. So where does that leave Jamie Lynn Spears?
She's seventeen and pregnant and engaged to Casey Aldridge and in Louisiana without her mom and dad. So - when is the wedding? According to OK! Magazine there is no rush, it is on hold for a while. The magazine reports this week that we shouldn't expect to see Jamie Lynn in a wedding gown anytime soon. *** According to the report, the couple is holding off on saying “I do” until after the baby arrives. “Jamie Lynn just got engaged - she’s taking her time and enjoying it,” a long-time friend of the Nickelodeon star tells OK! “She wasn’t even expecting Casey to propose. She’s got baby on the brain and is really loving her pregnancy.” But the weeding is still being planned and if it does actually take place expect cousins and close family friends to act as bridesmaids. Will Britney even make the cut if Jamie Lynn does tie the knot?
