Is it official? Has Dancing with the Stars contestant Shannon Elizabeth officially dumped her math-teacher boyfriend and taken up with dance partner Derek Hough? Nothing seems official yet, but sightings of Derek and Shannon together are being reported from Las Vegas to Southern California.
But while Shannon, 34, who reportedly recently split up with her math-teacher boyfriend, isn't talking about her relationship with Derek, 22, co-star Cheryl Burke - who's dating actor Matthew Lawrence - told ET recently, "They should just admit it." *** In Touch Weekly reports that now it looks as if Shannon Elizabeth and Derek Hough are the show's latest dance partners to fall for each other. The pair were first spotted kissing on a Malibu beach on April 17 and that turned the heat up on the rumors. Just two days later, they went shopping together at the Apple store in LA's Beverly Center where, an onlooker tells In Touch, "They were kissing - more than once - and holding hands and very much acting like a couple. The weren't holding back, or hiding their affection." Just weeks earlier, Shannon had dismissed talk of a romance between the couple, telling In Touch "I have never really dated a blonde guy, and Derek is 22 and I am a few years older." This wouldn't be the first couple to have fallen in love on the set. The show's other couples include Mario Lopez and Karina Smirnoff, and Sabrina Bryan and Mark Balas.
