Austrian police are continuing to question an elderly man who admitted holding his daughter in a cellar for 24 years and keeping other family member captive. Josef Fritzl, whom is now 73 years old, is accused of sexually abusing Elisabeth Fritzl, 42, and fathering seven children by her. They will all need extensive therapy to come to terms with the horrific ordeal, medical officials have stated in reports.

CNN is reporting that members of the Fritzl family will also be offered the chance to adopt new identities in an effort to help them lead normal lives, officials said. According to Sky News, Austrian police said he had no accomplices and planned his crime too meticulously to have been caught any earlier. They also confirmed they were investigating him for possible links to the murder of a young woman more than 20 years ago.
Police say Fritzl had admitted imprisoning his daughter and fathering her children but refused to explain further. Former captive Natascha Kampusch has held out hope that the Fritzl family can come to terms with their ordeal and she speaks out in a video interview here from the BBC.
