Nick Hogan Bollea, the son of former WWE champion Hulk Hogan will cop a plea tomorrow in charges stemming from tragic automobile accident that took place last August, a report from AOL's Entertainment and celebrity website TMZ.Com is claiming late Thursday afternoon. It appears that the plea will be entered on Friday and it sounds as if there is no guarantee that Nick (Hogan) Bollea won't receive jail time.

The crash in August was brutal and a passenger, an Iraqi war veteran named John Graziano, was not belted in the car according to police reports cited by the media at the time and he suffered very serious injuries, including a broken skull.

The family of the soldier will have an opportunity to testify at a sentencing hearing on Friday. One can expect some very emotional testimony on how the crime has affected their lives. The sentencing will be left completely up to the judge, as though the plea deal has been reached, TMZ is calling it an "open plea," and that means that once Bollea pleads guilty (or no contest) the judge will have the discretion to sentence him any way he sees fit under the sentencing guidelines.
The maximum sentence is five years in prison. Police have maintained that they believe that Nick Bollea was speeding at the time of the accident. Spectacular photos of the car crash wreckage are here. Other reports cited witnesses that also claimed that he was street racing when he lost control of the car.
