Dumped By Cell Phone: Bachelor Matt Grant Eliminated by Shayne Lamas, Report Claims

Shayne Lamas and Matt Grant were coupled on ABC Television's "The Bachelor" this year and are engaged to be married.  At least that is the story they were selling on an ABC "Bachelor" and "Bachelorette" special that aired right after DeAnna Pappas selected Jesse Csincsak to be her soul mate.  Now a report from the New York Post is claiming that it is all over for Shayne and Matt.

The report from the Page Six gossip column in the paper claims that Shayne Lamas is though with Matt Grant and she called him up on his cell phone and gave him the news!  Basically the report claims that Lamas didn't even go and dump Grant in person, she just used the phone.

Earlier reports have split this unlikely pair several times already in their young relationship, but they have always showed up somewhere at some point together saying that the rumors aren't true and all is well.  Will that happen again?

The Post claims that Grant is "devastated" over the news.  A report that was published during the airing of "The Bachelor" claimed that Matt was only using Shayne for a green card.  He has denied that claim on the ABC reality show.
