Mark Sanchez's Hot Dog-Gate continues with a nice donation offer from the hot dog loving quarterback from USC.  The star player of the New York Jets of the National Football League was caught on camera during the game last week versus the Oakland Raiders chowing down on a hot dog.  That has everyone ripping on the signal caller, including his head coach.

Now Sanchez has stated that he will "buy 500 hot dogs and 500 hamburgers, along with 500 buns and 500 rolls, from a local Morristown (New Jersey) A&P supermarket to donate to the Community Soup Kitchen of Morristown," according to a report from the Daily Record.

The LA Times describes the latest distraction, and how it gathered enough steam to get to the point where Sanchez is apologizing and trying to make amends.

"Television cameras caught Sanchez eating a hot dog while on the sideline Sunday during the New York Jets' 38-0 victory over the Oakland Raiders. He apologized, explained he felt sick and needed something to eat, and vowed it wouldn't happen again."

His coach was furious.  "You're disrespecting the opponent. You're disrespecting the game," Ryan said of Sanchez, via Newsday.  Sanchez apologized after the game, reports "The Huddle" at USA Today.
