Frances Bean Cobain, the daughter of rocker Courtney Love, launched into a tirade at a bus terminus in New York, it was reported. Cobain, whose father is late rock legend Kurt, had her travel plans ruined when it emerged she failed to pay for a reservation.

She was standing in a line to take a train to Boston, Massachusetts. The 17-year-old exploded into a rage over a mix-up and because a clerk failed to recognize her, reports claim.

A source said: "She caused a huge back-up on the line because she refused to pay herself. She was causing a scene and saying her name loudly to the guy behind the counter, but he had no idea who she was."

"Finally, she got out of line to call her business manager, who paid for her ticket." Frances Bean was most recently reported to be staying with Love at the city's Mercer Hotel after Love claimed she had to flee Los Angeles due to a staff conspiracy against her. Love's financial problems are said to be dire.
