Sammy Sosa is trending up with his new bleach skinned look, but he says he can't see what all of the fuss is about.  An examination at a photograph that is making its way around the World Wide Web (see below) shows the former slugger for the Chicago Cubs looking like he has bleached his skin!  However he is stunned that this sis such a big deal and the "white-faced" new look Sosa denies 'doing a Michael Jackson'.

Sosa has faded a bit out of sight recently and when the picture first hit wires it drew some gasps.  Was the image manipulated in any way?  Is this just horrible lighting?  The explanation coming from Camp Sammy is a bit odd, but a friend is speaking to the media.

A former Cubs employee Rebecca Polihronis tells the Chicago Tribune on Sosa, "He's not trying to be Michael Jackson."  The friend added, "He is going through a rejuvenation process for his skin. Women have it all of the time. He was surprised he came out looking so white. I thought it was a body double.

"He is in the middle of doing a cleansing process to his skin. The picture is deceiving."

He said, "If you saw me in person, you would be surprised. When you see me in person, it is not going to seem like the picture. People who saw him in person did not react the same way. He can't believe it is such a big deal."
