Former beauty queen Solange Magnano has died after "suffering complications resulting from plastic surgery," reports Sky News. The New York Daily News reports she, "died from complications after undergoing a gluteoplasty – a cosmetic surgery on her buttocks."

"She died of a pulmonary embolism Sunday after three days in critical condition following the gluteoplasty," the Associated Press reported.

According to the Hollywood Gossip celebrity website, "Authorities say the cause of death is still under investigation. Solange won the Miss Argentina crown in 1994, and later created her own modeling agency."

Bitten and Bound has more photos and video of the model and adds here, "Magnano underwent the procedure on Thursday and returned home to recuperate. She was rushed back to the hospital on Sunday when she began to have difficulty breathing." Sad story - RIP Solange Magnano.
