Britney Spears is set to perform her new leaked single "Gimme More" at MTV’s Video Music Awards next Sunday; several reports are claiming.  Britney wants to shock the world so she has brought on her rumored lover illusionist Criss Angel, the star of the cable TV show 'Mindfreak' to help her.

The New York Daily News is reporting that Brit will vanish -- and then reappear -- "several times" during her super-hyped performance at the upcoming show.

Will fans cheer more when she is "invisible?"  What's more, her dancers will be harnessed for "simulated flight," says their source.  Here's hoping the dancers are really good and this doesn't require much from Britney.
 
Spears new single is all over the web.  "Gimme More" made its official debut last night on radio station Z100's Web site and was also leaked to other sites.  The new dance track meant to resurrect the pop tart's stale career is out, and it begins with a defiant declaration: "It's Britney, bitch!"
