Jessica Simpson Splits with Hubby, 'It's Over' Magazine Reports

Jessica Simpson and hubby Nick Lachey are separated according to Life & Style Magazine.  Reports are also in from Us Weekly of a split that TNL had carried earlier in the day. 

Both magazines are available in the US on Wednesday.

But a fellow first-class passenger must have been stunned to discover that the blonde wasn't some anonymous girl it was Jessica Simpson!

The witnessed outburst is particularly shocking because Jess is rarely seen without a smile plastered on her face. But the insider reveals that a day before the flight, during a Sept. 27 phone conversation with Nick, she received heart-breaking news: He said he wants out of their marriage! "Nick told Jessica that it's obvious their marriage isn't working, and they can no longer sweep things under the rug," says the insider.

"He's fed up with not being able to trust her, with her constant partying, how much money she spends and who she spends her time with."

Jess, 25, told a friend that she begged Nick, 31, to reconsider and even told him she was willing to start a family right away. "You're in no condition to start a family," Nick snapped, according to the insider.

"It's over."

Denials are coming in fast and furious.

A representative for Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey says the cover stories saying the famous couple are finished are 'simply not true.'

"Nick and Jessica have not separated," Simpson's rep, Brad Cafarelli, stated to E! on the couple's behalf. "Rumors to the contrary are simply not true."

Jessica's pop, Joe Simpson, chimed in as well with a denial saying the two articles reporting a rift in his daughter's marriage are 'not true,' E! reported.

Reps for both magazines told E! Online that they are standing by their stories.

One thing is certain - time will tell.
