Jessica Simpson is trading in her Daisy Dukes and taking aim at some steamy action with Angelina Jolie beau Brad Pitt according to Star Magazine. The action would take place in the bedroom, but for Jess she hopes it is in the upcoming movie based on the eighties nightime soap, 'Dallas.'
Sources cited by the magazine say that Jess has her heart set on playing Pam, the wife of good son Bobby and she is hoping Brad will play that role.

| Jessica after Brad? |
The tabloid cites a source that dishes, "Jessica's had a secret crush on Brad for ages. She literally saw 'Legends of the Fall' more than 12 times."
"She thinks that Brad is the hottest man alive."
Join the club sweetie.
"Jessica is determined to make this movie," says the source. But an earlier report from Variety about possible castings makes it a long shot.
Published reports say that John Travolta is the favorite to take on the role of J.R. Ewing, though the trade mag comments that it is by no means certain that he will land the part. Both Mel Gibson and Kevin Costner are also in the running - Gibson has shown reluctance but has not actually turned the role down, whilst Costner wants to see the next draft of the script before making a decision.
Meanwhile, the identity of the actress to portray Sue Ellen is also uncertain. Catherine Zeta-Jones is looking likely, although there are also the possibilities of Demi Moore and Jennifer Lopez stepping in.
Drew Barrymore and Reese Witherspoon are the probable options for the role of Pamela, (Jess is probably way too young for the role) Jessica will likely get to battle Lindsay Lohan, and Mandy Moore to play Lucy.
Finally, Matthew McConaughey and Owen Wilson are being rumored as in line to play Bobby Ewing. (No mention of Brad Pitt)
But take heart Jessica - casting is not expected to be officially announced until a rewrite of the script has been completed.
One more note - a very young Brad Pitt played "Randy" (a ranch hand on the show in 1987 and 1988) according to IMDb.
