Jessica Simpson: 'Spotlight on Marriage Put Me Into Therapy'

Every weekly tabloid along with each nightly tabloid TV show and every Internet gossip site has an opinion on the Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey's marriage.  While stars are use to that - to a point - it's still a ton of pressure. 

Tabloid spotlight sends Jess to therapy

Now that pressure and the white hot spotlight on the rumors of Nick's alleged infidelity, and the alleged separation of the couple is reportedly taking a heavy toll on the blonde beauty and is said to be the reason Jessica is now in therapy.

According to MTV.com, Jessica told the magazine Teen People that she had to visit a therapist to help her cope with relentless paparazzi and tabloid rumors that her marriage was in trouble.

She does, however, take some responsibility for her high-profile personal life.

She said, "Nick and I have been so public about our marriage that it made people obsessed. We set ourselves up to be gawked at," according to the Launch Yahoo web site.

In Touch magazine's Hollywood cleavage champion Jessica and her 21-year old lip synching sister Ashlee are the teen magazine's cover girls for their December issue, which hits newsstands November 4.
