Katie Holmes, still unmarried and pregnant with the baby of Hollywood star and noted Scientologist Tom Cruise, may give up her acting career completely if a report from the UK is accurate.

New Katie Homes pregnanacy pictures show the actress definitely won't be taking any acting parts soon unless a Katie Holmes bump is written into the role.

Victoria Newton dishes in the UK Sun that the fabulous Katie Holmes, at only 26 years of age, may ditch her acting career.

Newton says:

A pal tells me: “Katie has decided to give up acting altogether. She’s been telling friends that she and Tom have decided it is best she stays at home and brings up their new baby.

“Her decision is raising a lot of eyebrows in Hollywood.

“She is at the perfect age for so many screen roles and has completely closed the door on a promising career.”

Only time will tell if this report is accurate, but Katie was hardly packing in "A-list" leading lady roles, though her last acting gig was in the big budget "Batman Begins."

But Katie still has a massive fan base from her days on "Dawson's Creek" and at only 26, still has many years of possible roles ahead.

Will she give that opportunity up?  Well - let's see if she signs that prenuptial agreement first.
