While Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are making headlines jet-setting around the globe this holiday weekend, Brad Pitts' folks may be wondering why their son and his new gal pal didn't find time for them on Thanksgiving.
Brad's parents Jane and Bill Pitt reportedly invited Angie and Brad to Missouri to spend Thanksgiving with them. But instead the pair is traveling the world promoting a movie and some of their political causes.
The report says Brad is exhausted and would have preferred that he and Angie spend some quiet time in southern Missouri getting to know the folks.
As an added bonus - Angie could have scored some points with Brad's mom.

It's still not clear if Mrs. Pitt has entirely accepted Angelina, as reports have stated that she is quite concerned with Jolie's two failed marriages, and her wild past. This was a great opportunity for Angie to win the over the entire Pitt family.
"It's really not going to endear Angelina to the Pitts if they thin she's trying to keep their son way, a source told the American tabloid 'The Star."
While Brad surely has a mind of his own - that's exactly what happened.
The couple hit several different countries over the holiday weekend, but failed to travel to the Show-Me-State to spend time with his family.
