The actors, activists and parents-to-be were cheered by large crowds as they toured Port-au-Prince, Haiti, according to wire service reports.
The Hollywood couple, who announced last week they are expecting their first child together, spent the weekend learning about projects run by Yele Haiti, the charity started by Haiti native and Fugees frontman Wyclef Jean.
According to Entertainment Tonight, Angelina Jolie, a U.N. goodwill ambassador noted that, "You hear so much just about the danger and the fear and then you come here and you meet just an amazing people. Given just a little chance, and given a little help, this is going to be a great country."
The parents-to-be are likely headed back to their home in Malibu for some much deserved rest.
