Catfight: Jessica Simpson vs. Lindsay Lohan?

This should be one interesting catfight.  The white hot rumors of a Jessica Simpson, Adam Levine tryst reportedly has Lindsay Lohan seeing red. 

Jessica and Lindsay Catfight?

The sticking point, Lindsay and Adam had a fling last October, she’s been text-messaging and calling him in the hopes of rekindling the relationship, reports "In Touch Weekly."

Is the catfight on?

Perhaps.  A tease on the magazine's web site claims that “Lindsay’s been telling her friends that maybe Jessica should get herself together and work through her divorce issues before going after other guys,” says an insider. A pal of Jessica’s says Lindsay’s jealousy is misplaced because Jessica wouldn’t steal someone else’s man — she doesn’t even want a boyfriend."

Jessica was spotted leaving the Chateau Marmont earlier this week in the morning hours and quickly the rumors began.

Page Six called it this way:

Our spy swears Jessica Simpson took a break from partying with Kirsten Dunst the other night to disappear into Maroon 5 man-whore Adam Levine's room - and didn't emerge until the next morning.

"She was picked up by her best friend, Cacee Cobb, that morning," our snitch tattled. Simpson's rep has steadfastly shot down rumors of a romance with the skirt-chasing singer in the past.

There are also other reports that despite the rumors that both Jessica and estranged hubby Nick Lachey are again dating other people they are still sneaking around together.
