Britney Spears Tries Damage Control

Britney Spears has suffered some pretty good self-inflicted shots of late.  The major storm hit when the pop singer was captured by a photographer driving on a California highway with her baby settled in on her lap.

Now the new mom is in damage control.

According to a report, Brit will spill to People Magazine that she would never put her baby at risk.  Calling it an "unfortunate incident for her and her family," Jamie Bufalino dished that Spears is a "doting mother" and claimed that she would never put Sean Preston at risk.

The article will note that Baby Preston is Brit's her pride and joy.

While I'm sure that's accurate - Brit indeed did put the infant at risk. 

She had the baby's little skull but a few inches from the very powerful force of the driver's side airbag.

Her interview with the magazine should prove interesting, but the best spin will be for Brit to admit the error and promise never to do it again.
