It all sounded so good. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were set to be married in a June wedding and had registered at Tiffany's under the sneaky names Angelina J Voight and William B Pitt to sneak under the radar and still grab some really expensive gifts.

But alas it was too good to be true - it's a hoax.
When The National Ledger contacted Pitt's publicist Cindy Guagenti she confirmed what we believed:
"It's fake," Guagenti said.

She added her firm would contact Tiffany's to correct the fraudulent entry. That appears to have happened as the one-time link is completely gone.
The initial wedding date, as reported by the hard-working crew at Jossip was to be June 27, 2006. No gifts were yet purchased, and now the couple will have to do without.

And for now it appears we'll all have to just keep guessing as to when (and if) the globe-trotting super-couple tie the knot.
As you can see by the picture of Matt Damon and Angie - she will make a beautiful bride - someday.
