Imette St. Guillen was last seen standing alone outside The Falls bar on Lafayette St at about 4:15 a.m. on February 25.  She would never be heard from by friends and family again as she was kidnapped, murdered and brutally raped sometime there after.

Her nude, brutalized body was found on a desolate road in Spring Creek, Brooklyn, wrapped in a floral quilt, at about 8:40 p.m.

Twenty-three hours earlier, the student at John Jay College of Criminal Justice had met up with Higgins at the Pioneer Bar, on the Bowery, published reports say.

Police are said to be considering a full release of the audio of the 911 call that led cops to the body.  Of course, that caller is likely key to the case and so far police have yet to determine who made that call.

Fox News reporter Julie Banderas reported on Saturday that police have told her that if they do not get a break soon, they may release the entire 911 call in hopes of someone recognizing the voice of the caller or any other mannerism that can help identify the person that placed the 911 call.

The NY Post reports today:

Police Commissioner Ray Kelly is considering making an unusual public briefing on the investigation into the death of the graduate student, with the hopes it might prompt anyone with information to come forward.

Kelly may go public sometime early this week, as the probe into the killing of the beautiful young woman.

A potion of the 911 call has appeared in print and the New York Post reported details of the call in Friday’s paper. The paper says the call went as follows:

Operator: "Hello, 911."

Caller: "I think there's a body over at Fountain and Seaview."

Operator: "How do you know? What did you see?"

Caller: "It looks like a body. You should send someone to take a look at it."

The paper says after that, the person hung up.

Police are continuing to canvass and look for clues in the now week old brutal slaying.

The young woman was laid to rest yesterday with over 200 mourners attending her funeral in Boston.
