The hectic pace of Angelina Jolie and the stress of an instant family, a possible wedding, or the fact that Jolie may never marry Brad Pitt has the star picking up an old habit.

The hunky 40-year old actor had sworn off cigarettes - but now he's smoking, again.

In Touch Weekly notes that the lifestyle change has Brad a bit off and onlookers were stunned when they saw Brad puffing away on cigarettes at Berlotti, a posh café in Paris.  The American actor used to smoke, but had given up the habit.

Earlier reports had noted that Brad had quit smoking for the sake of Angelina Jolie's children. The Hollywood heartthrob has given up cigarettes because his stunning girlfriend doesn't like him smoking around four-year-old Maddox and baby Zahara.

Brad reportedly found the nicotine withdrawal difficult, but sources claim Angelina was helping him every step of the way. A friend revealed earlier to People Magazine: "Angelina wraps him up in love and comfort and he just calms down."

But with a baby on the way, and his whirlwind romance that never even seems to take one day off, it may be that Brad now needs a cig to calm down.
