Oscar winning actress Charlize Theron fought back rumors that she and long-time boyfriend Stuart Townsend were finished. The beautiful and talented actress dispatched reps to deny the split once they hit the press two weeks ago. Charlize’s rep denied the rumors saying, “They are 100 percent together.”

But now Star Magazine is set to report that the ruse is over.

A report in this week's edition will claim that the Star has learned that those rumors of a split are indeed correct. “She’s broken up with him,” a source tells Star. “She told him that she wants a break, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s over for good.” “They’re at really different places in their lives.
According to the weekly magazine Charlize, 30, wants to concentrate on her career, whereas Stuart is a lot more happy-go-lucky and fun loving,” the source says.
According to the source, Charlize wants to see if she is happier on her own. “If she is, she’ll make the break permanent,” says the source.

Expect more rep denials soon, or perhaps the couple will admit it with the usual we will remain friends and still love each other and this is a 'trial separation' mantra that is so often used.
If it is true, it's sad as they made an adorable couple.
