Blondie - one of the original party girls should know - right?

Lindsay thinks so and Life & Style reports that she is la Lohan's very own 'American idol.'

The weekly magazine reports that at a NYC party in the Blondie front woman’s honor on March 9, Linds, 19, gushed to the 60-year-old singer about what a fan she is and even suggested they record a duet!

The star also asked Debbie, once a notorious party girl, for pointers on juggling a career and an active nightlife.

“Lindsay’s like me when I was younger,” Debbie later told an insider.

Perhaps it’s no surprise that Linds is looking for a role model. She was recently told by her mom, Dina, 43, that she sounded stupid in a Cosmopolitan interview.

“It hurts Lindsay when Dina is critical,” says another insider.

No kidding.  No one really wants to be called stupid by their mom.
