Tom Cruise & Katie Holmes Have Press on Baby Alert

Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise have the LA press on a high baby alert this weekend, as Katie could give birth at anytime.

TMZ is reporting that magazine editors and the paparazzi are on call 24/7 this weekend, speculating on buzz that Katie Holmes will give birth in complete silence by following Scientology's strict birthing plan.

The web site reports that Katie, 27, has been a regular at the Celebrity Scientology Center in Los Angeles where she has been learning about the mysterious religion which Cruise, 43, claims guides his every life decision.

So - will Katie have to go through the entire "silent birthing ritual?"

Hard to say and will likely be harder to tell unless Katie speaks out after the baby is born.

But for the next few days, or weeks, expect the press on high alert as everyone will want to be the magazine that breaks the story that Katie has dropped the kid.

My best guess - the baby will be born in LA sometime within the next two weeks.
