Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Photos Ignored Jennifer Aniston

Photographer Steven Klein spills the dirt on the now infamous "W" Magazine photo shoot with nearly confirmed new power couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie and how, according to Liz Smith, they ignored Jennifer Aniston.

Pitt reportedly said "Let's (do this) and throw this back at them and confuse them!"  According to Smith the "them" he referred to were the paparazzi that have dogged Brad and Angelina from day one of their rumored romance.

But, according to the report, the real question should have been, what about Brad's wife, Jennifer Aniston?

Liz Smith:

But I'm sure if Brad had thought one second longer, he might have seen how this session would play out in the public mind, and to Jennifer Aniston, from whom he was not yet divorced.

Brad and Angelina insisted they were just "good friends" and that "friendship" had nothing to do with the Pitt separation. So maybe they did just hold hands and gaze soulfully. Or not.

Is this really the story they are going with?

The whole idea that these two could "confuse" the paparazzi or their fans with a photo shoot is ridiculous.  The photos created a buzz, and the buzz led to more tickets being sold for the couple's summer blockbuster movie "Mr. and Mrs. Smith."

Liz Smith is probably right, I'm guessing they left a ditraught Jennifer Aniston as well.

Brad obviously didn't care if the photo-shoot hurt Jennifer nor was it confusing to the public.  It just made them want more "un-staged" photos of Brad and Ang.

And the "confused paparazzi" are still trying to get those photos.
