"Grey's Anatomy" babe Katherine Heigl will be heading straight into shooting the big-screen comedy "Knocked Up" as soon as ABC's megahit reaches its quickly approaching season finale.

"It's with Judd Apatow, who did 'The 40-Year-Old Virgin.' I'm the knocked up one," says Heigl with a laugh.
'It's crazy because I have to wear like a big prosthetic belly the whole movie. I'm of age to be having children, but it's just a weird concept to me."
The actress, who plays Isobel "Izzie" Stevens on the hit ABC series, admits, 'It's a little rough going directly from the show to another project. I wouldn't have minded a little vacation. As grateful as I am to be on the show and as wonderful as it is, at this point, nine months in, I think we're all a little burnt out and tired and we need some new scenery for a few months. I'm sure we'll be chomping at the bit to come back."
As for what we can expect in 'Grey's" upcoming episodes?
"There are some big changes, and I'm excited as an actor to play all of this stuff that they are beginning for me, but it's also hard to watch my character go through what she's going through. I don't want to give you more than that or they'll kill me," responds Heigl. In the meantime, she's just enjoying the ride. 'My career seems to have finally gotten to where I don't have to worry about it so much. It's not as much of a struggle so I can enjoy it more and relax into what it's become."
STALKING THE FAMED:
"Rescue Me" regular Callie Thorne predicts "Delirious," the independent feature she recently shot in New York City, will be the definitive film about "celebrity and the paparazzi. It's directed by Tom DiCillo, and Steve Buscemi plays a pretty intense celebrity stalker photographer," she says. "It's a role based on a real guy, and Buscemi is magnificent! I got to shoot a couple of scenes with him, and he just puts me in awe. Alison (Lohman) does an amazing job as a pop idol and I play her manager."
She none too fondly recalls, "We had a lot of red carpet scenes and party scenes, and we were shooting in November and December in blizzard conditions. We were in these little tank tops and having to look really glam, but I didn't because half the time the director had to yell, 'Cut,' and say, 'Callie, your teeth are chattering.' I was like 'What do you want me to do? It's involuntary. It's tough to act if you're thinking about trying to control your teeth and your nose is running."
Thorne reports her hiatus from "Rescue Me" turned out to be "hysterically busy," with not only the film, but her recent four-episode arc on 'ER' as John Leguizamos's girlfriend.
CELEBRITY SEEN:
After a brief engagement to Rod Stewart's daughter, Kimberly, it appears as if Talan Torriero of 'Laguna Beach" isn't having any trouble moving on. He was recently spotted in the bar of Bahama Breeze in Raleigh, N.C. with the lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls, Nicole Kea, who was in town for a concert. Some of the patrons quickly recognized the 19-year-old Torriero and immediately asked for his autograph. Realizing he would not be able to partake in any alcohol consumption at the bar, one table even had the waiter bring him a Shirley Temple in jest. Though Torriero took the joke with great amusement, Kea was less impressed -- by the fact that no one recognized her, that is.
FROM THE INSIDE LOOKING OUT:
"How I Met Your Mother" star Josh Radnor says he's "waiting to hear on some things" -- as in roles he might take on during his seasonal hiatus. However, he adds with a grin, "I'm not stressing about it the way I would if I didn't have a successful series."
So far, he's visited family back home in Ohio and planned to spend a week in Hawaii with the show's Jason Segel. "I'm going all over, visiting people. I might go back to New York for a while. It's a good year to go back for a college reunion," observes the Kenyon College alumnus. The season winds up May 15 with a finale that answers the "Will they, won't they?" question for Radnor's character, Ted and his crush, Robin (Cobie Smulders).
