American Idol Feud Settled: Ryan Seacrest and Paula Abdul Make Up

The reported American Idol feud between host Ryan Seacrest and judge Paula Abdul reportedly sent the pair into couple's therapy.  The pair traded barbs on the Tonight Show and as it was getting out of hand - it was reported that the Idol suits told them to get it worked out.

Now Mike Walker is reporting the feud is settled and indeed Ryan Seacrest and Paula Abdul have kissed and made up.

The Enquirer gossip columnist gives this conclusion:

Debunking reports that they're seriously feuding, Paula Abdul phoned American Idol co-star Ryan Seacrest's LA radio show and

(1) admitted that during the show's first season, "I had a crush on you — and somewhere there's a picture of us kissing."

(2) Contrary to what he thinks, his mom has let Paula know she loves it when she teases Ryan, a la her infamous Tonight Show quip that the only thing he kisses is the mirror; and

(3) when security guards recently blocked Ryan from visiting her dressing room, it was because staffers were trying to retrieve the teeny microphone that had fallen into her cleavage.

Said Paula: "You guys don't have that problem." Quipped Ryan: "Simon does!"

Could it have all been a ruse for the radio listeners and to satisfy the AI brass?  Sure. 

But what do these guys have to feud about anyway - both are riding the incredible popularity of American Idol to household name status where they would have none otherwise.
