American Idol Astrology: Katharine McPhee Will Win

She's the last girl standing on American Idol.  Can Katharine McPhee win the whole thing?  While Judge Paula Abdul says she's pulling for Elliott Yamin, and judge Simon Cowell is predicting a Taylor Hicks win, TMZ.Com has another prediction from another source.

Kat can win, says astrologer
Kat can win, says astrologer

The web site reports that an astrologer who predicted last year's 'Idol' winner says the stars are lining up for Katharine McPhee to be the next 'American Idol.'

TMZ:

Jeff Jawer, an AOL Horoscopes astrologer, says the alignment of the Taurus moon with Venus and Pluto gives Katharine the edge over Taylor Hicks and Elliott Yamin. The 'Idol' winner will be picked on May 24.

Last year, Jawer correctly sized up the lunar signs and predicted that Capricorn Carrie Underwood would win the competition.

While that's all well and good, it was pretty obvious several weeks out last season that the winner would be Bo Bice or the eventual winner Carrie Underwood.

It's unclear when astrologer Jeff made the Carrie prediction but if it was well into the contest - he had about a 50-50 chance.

Even I picked Carrie to win.

But hey - since none of the judges seem to be predicting or pulling for Kat - she may have to settle for the astrologer.  "McPheever" is well underway among Kat fans.  I'm hoping she survives.

Also:  An update from Just Jared says that Kat has confirmed in a radio interview that she is not a Scientologist.  Katharine dated someone who was a Scientologist and dabbled in Scientology for a little bit but she was "quickly out the door."

TMZ has much more here - including video of more Idol items.
