Is the bidding war on for Angelina Jolie's first baby picture?  That's about as easy to determine as if Jolie is giving birth today.  One report from earlier this month said that People Magazine had purchased the rights to the baby pictures for $3.5 million.

That was followed by a claim that American tabloid Us Weekly had nabbed the photos for a stunning $5 million.

The first report came from the South African Sunday Times and it claimed that People Magazine had negotiated a deal to donate three and a half million dollars to Unicef in exchange for the first baby pictures.

Next up a report claimed that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have sold the first picture of their unborn baby for a staggering $5 million, according to a report.

Of course the money will be donated to charity, but both of these amounts sound a bit high.

This claim was from Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper and cited the newspaper as saying: "They've signed a $5 million deal with a publication and the money will go to children's charity UNICEF.

"Angelina's very private but they figured they might as well use the opportunity of one child being born to help a lot of others."
People Magazine has denied the reports.

No word yet on whether Us Weekly would really drop $5 million on the pictures.

But remember - Angelina gave the first pregnancy bump scoop to People for an undisclosed sum.  Will it be a matter of a bidding war, or are Angie and Brad loyal to People Magazine?

In other news the Jolie baby could come at any minute, as reports from Namibia say the actress is either in labor or near birth.  None of those reports were abale to be verified.
