Tom Cruise has taken a PR beating in the last year. Between his quick love affair with the fabulous Katie Holmes, his couch jumping antics and his attack on Brooke Shields, many fans were turned off.

But he may be turning it around and Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt could probably use some PR lessons from Mr. Cruise.
While Tom still probably has a ways to go - earlier this month he thanked the "polite" paparazzi for their continued courtesy throughout his kids' baseball and soccer games.
Jolie and Pitt are using an African government and their own guards to strong-arm reporters and paparazzi and even are having some of them incarcerated or booted from the country of Namibia.

Cruise and his fiancé Katie Holmes face an onslaught of photographers every time they attended matches featuring Cruise's kids Connor and Isabella, during the actress' recent pregnancy.
But when Cruise insisted that the photographers are always considerate and have never been a nuisance he scores points.

When Jolie and Pitt set themselves up as royalty - they come across as snobs. They are supposed to be this wonderful giving couple that wants to help the impoverished, but when they treat others as they are now, that dims that bulb of giving.

Jolie and Pitt fared little better that Cruise in an earlier Gallup poll taken of big name stars. Cruise seems to have taken that to heart and is learning that he must give his fans some sort of access.
Pitt and Jolie seemed to have forgotten that and they may have quite the rude awakening when and if they ever return to the United States.
