While many have criticized Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie for their decision to stay in Africa and have their baby in a third world country others believe using the country is brilliant.
Add to that their reported offer to sell the photos for charity - if true - shows the philanthropy of the world's most sought after celebrity couple.

The decision to pose for the first photos with their new baby's arrival and donate the 5mil to UNICEF is beyond genius! I'm so very happy to see that Angelina, Brad and the children are making this birth a wonderful example for all. To have adopted first and then have your own is also a very special part of this decision.
It sends a strong message of love for humanity in general. It is obvious that Angelina and Brad feel grounded in Africa away from the silly hub bub in Hollywood, London, Paris- wherever.

Using Namibia as a birthing backdrop allowed them for a quieter atmosphere and still bring positive media attention to one of the areas of the world where Jolie represents the need for change. All of these choices are a stark departure from their previous lifestyles that everyone finds refreshing and inspiring. It says “we can all grow and change as time goes on”.
I really appreciate both Angelina's and Brad's mature decisions. Whether they ever decide to become lifetime mates really doesn't matter.
They've demonstrated what happens when two people put their heads together to bring the best out in each other. We can feel that they will always care for all their children no matter what happens in the future.

Hard to argue with that analysis - even for Jolie-Pitt detractors.
