According to various reports - Kevin Federline may be served with divorce papers any day now from wife Britney Spears.  A report from the UK cites a source close to Spears that claims Britney has already started seeing lawyers about splitting with Kevin.

But not so fast.

TMZ.Com has sent some poor soul out to the San Fernando Valley where Kevin Federline hangs with his friends at an apartment complex in Studio City, Calif and reports denials are in from the posse.

The web site reports:

One friend, decked out in baggy pants and sunglasses, claims the talk of divorce is false. "Everything you read in the tabloids about their relationship is fabricated," the buddy said, claiming "They're still together."

Others interviewed at the complex agreed that the divorce talk is off base, but no one would agree to officially go on the record with a quote.

Fashion Monitor notes that reports Britney Spears has split from husband Kevin Federline have not been denied by the singer's publicist and reports Britney Spars is currently pregnant with her second child and was spotted in Los Angeles without Kevin this past weekend.

Us Weekly has their countdown clock running right now - we earlier reported it was a 97 days but they have now changed it to accurately reflect the time it has been since the pair were spotted together.

Right now - it's at 73 days and change.
