The weekly magazines are digging deep into Taylor’s past, predicting his future and even commenting on his sex life. The Enquirer just last week ran a story that ran with an unsubstantiated Internet rumor that Hicks was gay,
American Idol winner Taylor Hicks is caught up in a raging gay sex scandal! the lede screamed.

"The Enquirer has learned that the silver-haired 29-year-old bachelor has been the target of nasty homosexual lies on the Internet and in his Alabama hometown," a line of the report read.
So – did you catch that?
The Enquirer believes the charges are bunk. And of course they are correct. But on his climb to the top hicks can expect more and more coverage of not only his msic - but his life.

TVTalkShows.com, which is doing some serious Google keyword stuffing, has this string: video of taylor hicks on live with regis and kelly - qvc black gay video; that accounts for most of the Google search results for "Taylor Hicks gay."
