Jessica Simpson is fresh off her hit movie with the Duke boys and Ashlee is fresh off her, how do I put this kindly, her "Undiscovered" movie debut. So how does legendary photographer David LaChapelle feel about the sisters and their talent? Well, let's just say he has some pretty strong feelings and he's not shy about sharing them.
Lowdown:
"They're everything that's wrong with music," LaChapelle seethed to Lowdown. "Out of everything combined, they're everything wrong with culture, and everything wrong with art, and what we think of as art and musical culture - in one family!"
"They're nothing. They have nothing. They hold no interest whatsoever for anybody," he sniffed. "They're reality-red-carpet, lip-synching television stars. I don't know what they are beyond that. I don't think they offer anything."
He commented through a spokesman, "We were going to try and make the Simpsons look cool. I realize now that is an impossible task."
Tell us how you really feel David.
The nasty feelings all apparently come from when the gals subbed LaChapelle for a Rolling Stone cover shoot. They reportedly declined and later called LaChapelle a "one-trick pony."
This may get nasty.
