She's known by millions of TV viewers as America's sweetheart, and in an Independence Day poll American beauty Jennifer Aniston has been voted as America's favorite red, white and blue superstar.

ET has a story on its web site that touts tonight's show and asked who your ultimate "All-American Star" was, and thousands of viewers wrote in with your celeb choices and why!

The former 'Friends' star and Vince Vaughn's gal edged out Reese Witherspoon and Tom Cruise for the title.

"The golden girl of Hollywood's still got it it! Friendly Jennifer was far and away your top choice, as many ET viewers feel the natural beauty has overcome some difficult personal hurdles and has triumphed at the box office with her summer hit, 'The Break-Up.'

Aniston nemesis and United Nations Ambassador Angelina Jolie remarkably made the list - checking in at number eight.  Her ex-hubby Brad Pitt was below that - checking in at number ten, tied with Keanu Reeves.
