Photographer David LaChapelle has made a habit of trashing Jessica and Ashlee Simpson of late. He has called the sisters 'reality-red-carpet, lip-synching television stars' and joked that they didn't measure up to Homer, Marge and Bart Simpson. The problem reportedly stems from a would-be Rolling Stone photo shoot that the sisters walked out on.
He said through a spokesman, "We were going to try and make the Simpsons look cool. I realize now that is an impossible task."
Now it appears that LaChapelle really wanted the sisters to look dirty. Or in this case muddy. And Jessica Simpson reportedly was worried she'd look slutty. And not just regular slutty, according to Page Six she was concerned that she would look 'Paris Hilton slutty.'
Page Six:
It was the mud wrestling that wrecked Rolling Stone's cover-photo shoot with Jessica and Ashley Simpson…the sisters walked off the set because the photographer (LaChapelle) "wanted them to mud wrestle together and have other female wrestlers around."
The insider said, "David's behavior was very erratic, and the shoot was rescheduled several times." Jessica was fearful the shoot would turn out like Paris Hilton's Vanity Fair shoot four years ago - at which the heiress first appeared topless and slutty and later tearfully regretted "embarrassing" her family. Jessica "turned to Ashley and said, 'This does not feel right. We are out of here!'
And out they were. No mud wrestling, no Paris Hilton Vanity Fair topless regrets.
