Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt Adoption: The Jennifer Aniston Factor

Jennifer Aniston wants kids according to interviews she has given in the past.  Angelina Jolie and Jen's ex husband Brad Pitt grab a kid a year or so from some corner of the world and apparently have procured one this year from Vietnam.  In what sounds scarily like a purchase Us Weekly magazine is reporting that millions of dollars will exchange hands once the kid is delivered.  So how is Jennifer Aniston taking the adoption?  She's moved on.  Sources tell Us Weekly Magazine that the former Mrs. Brad Pitt isn't batting an eye over the adoption announcement. "She doesn't care what Brad and Angelina do anymore."

Good for Jennifer.  Even the public agrees as a poll that accompanies the story notes that 68% of those polled in the online poll believe Jen has longed moved on.  Has Jolie?  Well she was the one that recently said she wanted to meet with Jennifer and a report earlier this week claimed that she was none to happy with the unmarried father of her kids sent Jen a birthday card.

As far as the Jolie-Pitt adoption goes it will be rushed along and will likely draw a firestorm of critique.  "(Angelina has) promised to give $2 million to the Tam Binh orphanage on the very day she receives the child," a Vietnamese insider tells Us Weekly. Of note: The actual adoption fee is only about $125.

That's a bit on the icky side.  And it certainly doesn't match the earlier reports of 'no preferential treatment.'  "[Jolie] will have to follow procedure like any other American," Vu Duc Long, head of the Ministry of Justice for Vietnam said in earlier interviews.  So every American coughs up an alleged $2 million per kid- who knew?
