American Idol, Anna Nicole Smith Top Rosie O'Donnell Birthday List

Rosie O'Donnell turns 45 years old on Wednesday and for the 'queen of mean' that rules the ABC henfest called 'The View' that means she is smarter than anyone 44 and under.  In her tumulus time at the ABC program she once slammed her co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck as "young and wrong" and just yesterday told her to shut up and not give opinions.  It seems the loudmouth is the only person allowed to spew.  That was only a bit of the brilliance dribbled forth by the person Jo Anne Way has dubbed 'the round mound of put down.'  Just hours before Anna Nicole Smith died; Rosie stuck her foot in her mouth and was lampooning the buxom blonde on her show.

She has slammed plenty of other folks along the way, but seems to have saved her real ire for American idol.  She's ripped the judges.  She slammed Simon Cowell as mean, and has accused Paula Abdul as being liquored up.  Millionaire Rosie even ripped the judges as 'millionaires' earlier this year while slamming them for criticizing people. While sitting on her Lily white panel of co-hosts she dubbed the entire show as racist.

Newsday points out that she was also none too kind to "Idol" wanna-be Antonella Barba, who was whacked around by Rosie for "being skinny and white."  Verne Gay notes that she slammed the show  for being "weightist and racist" by letting naughty Barba stay on the show but kicking off naughty Frenchie Davis in the second season for a similar lack of discretion.

There's more and Gay has a fairly good round up.  Her bashes have included:  Donald Trump, who takes an easy opening shot with this line: "When Rosie hangs upside down, I would pay a lot of money to get out of the room."  Star Jones, whom Ro called a "former fatty," and other things we'd best not repeat.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck, for being called - in effect - a bimbo in front of millions by Ro, who later apologized (in haiku).  Also she struck out at Kelly Ripa and lambasted for secretly wishing Clay Aiken had worn sanitized gloves when muzzling her, dubbing her a homophobe even though Clay insists that he is not gay.

She also offended a billion or so Chinese with a racist rant.  But that's what she is paid to do.  After hearing her takes on politics and world affairs, (she recently parroted the 9/11 conspiracy theorists theories) certainly she should stick with celebrity bashing.
