Britney Spears first weekend was full of drama as the starlet was spotted with new big blue eyes and was out and around the Los Angeles area doing a fairly good imitation of Lindsay Lohan's post treatment circuit.  And now there is a report that Britney was rushed to the hospital.  The reports drew all kinds of speculation that the former pop princess had already relapsed.

But it appears she just had a tooth emergency.  In a statement to That Other Blog, Spears' rep Larry Rudolph says that the stories on other internet sites that Spears is in a tailspin are WRONG -- "They're all wrong, she just went to the dentist. She had a toothache, I have no more details."

TMZ has the same information at their newsroom.  The website is reporting that sources close to the singer tell TMZ that Spears checked in because she was experiencing significant pain in one of her molars. She was seen leaving the hospital less than one hour later.

Spears first weekend out featured the pop tart hitting the streets with so many paparazzi in tow that police officers had to be called in and help control the crowds.  X17 online gives this report and promises video:

"After less than two hours, Britney is now leaving the Century City Hospital where she arrived with her bodyguard earlier through the emergency room. We're not sure if perhaps Britney was just visiting someone (but entering through the ER?!) or if she herself was admitted. She has now left through the exit in the underground parking garage and appears to be headed home."
