Jennifer Love Hewitt Happy American Idol Voters Dumped Sanjaya Malakar

American Idol judge Simon Cowell is happy.  Most of the people that watch American idol to see talent develop are also happy that American Idol hopeful Sanjaya Malakar has been dumped by voters.  And a CBS television personality is also pleased.  Jennifer Love Hewitt has chimed in and she is pleased to see Sanjaya hit the bricks.  When you have Jennifer, one of the nice gals in Hollywood, rooting against you - it is likely time to go.

Hollyscoop has the report.  The website reports that it caught up with Hewitt, who was hosting a private party for the opening of Hanes Comfortique in West Hollywood.

According to the report 'American Idol' and the eccentric Sanjaya was the biggest buzz at the event. When we asked Jennifer about Sanjaya getting kicked off, this is what she had to say...

"'Thank God!' Here's my thing about Sanjaya, I think that Sanjaya is very smart, I think that Sanjaya could be and will have a career because there have been lots of, I don't think it's necessarily about the look, I think that he should at this point probably go home, no offense to him, for me when he said welcome to Sanjaya's Universe that was it for me, I was like you know what, honestly you're 12 and you have to go home."

Love wasn't finished and she is obviously an avid Idol viewer.  "I think the 3 are going to be Blake, Melinda and Jordin...I think Jordin could possibly win it and I thought that way before Simon said it Tuesday night! I think that Jordan is going to win it and it may come down between her and Blake."
