Mags: Angelina Jolie Driving Brad Pitt Away, Towards Jennifer Aniston

Actor Brad Pitt and Oscar-winning partner Angelina Jolie are having relationship problems and Brad is again talking to ex-wife Jennifer Aniston.  So sayeth a whole bunch of chatty friends and they are spilling their stories to the entertainment media.  In one of this week' cover stories Brad wants custody of daughter Shiloh -- and he's crying on the shoulders of his ex-wife, actress Jennifer Aniston, a report from Life & Style Weekly has claimed.

In Touch Weekly took another route, and a report from Reuters notes that this week's magazine claims that Angelina's stunning weight loss and erratic behavior is driving Brad away.

Star Magazine claims that Brad and Angelina are facing a trial separation due to their work schedules.  All of these reports come on the heels of last few weeks of tabloid furor about Brad and Angelina "living separate lives."  Earlier this month the headline on Us Weekly blared, "Her Twisted Double Life," along with, "Her broken promise to be a stay-at-home mom...How she uses her kids to manipulate the media."

Star noted that "Angelina Walks Out on Brad!...and Dumps the Kids!" The tab says Jolie reneged on her promise to stay home with her kids and flew off to Chicago to film "Wanted."  For their part, Brad and Angelina are trying some damage control.

"They are together and very happy,” Jolie’s manager, Geyer Kosinski, tells Us Weekly this week.  And Pitt's publicist, Cindy Guagenti, tells theat magazine that she "responded to those two tabloids [Star Magazine and Life&Style Weekly] with the correct information and they choose not to run it. There is absolutely no trial separation."

Guagenti continues, "As a matter of fact, Brad and the kids are traveling to Prague to be with Angelina while she films her movie. Then they are both going to Cannes to promote Oceans 13 and A Mighty Heart. After that, the whole family is going to Los Angeles for the premiere of Oceans 13 and then to New York for the premiere of a Mighty Heart."

I guess the real test will come when the movie promotions end.  Surely the Pitt produced and Jolie starred 'A Mighty Heart' can't afford any turmoil.
