Just a few weeks back it was reported that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were set to try a trial separation.  The report from Star Magazine claimed that Brad and Angelina are cracking under the strain in their three-year relationship, and sources told the weekly entertainment magazine that they'll view their upcoming time apart as a trial separation of sorts.  That brought a stern response from the reps.

Brad's publicist Cindy Guagenti insisted that the couple, who have been together ever since falling in love with each other after meeting on the sets of 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith' in 2005, are not planning on any trial separation.  "There is absolutely no trial separation. As a matter of fact, Brad and the kids are traveling to Prague to be with Angelina while she films her movie," Guagenti told Us Weekly Magazine.

But certainly they are spending a good deal of time apart even before they head overseas.  Jolie has been up and down the eastern seaboard hitting both DC and Gotham in the past few days and was caught playing around and sambaing with 'Unfaithful' man candy and 'Taking Lives' co-star Olivier Martinez.  According to the New York Daily News, after the Tribeca Film Institute screening of the documentary 'A Place in Time' Jolie, Bai Ling, Ethan Hawke, and Olivier Martinez met up at Unik's Gin Lane, where Jolie's music director, Wyclef Jean, and five conga players encouraged Jolie to let down her hair.

The paper reports that "Throwing her arms in the air, Jolie gave Martinez a samba lesson he won't forget."  Rush and Molloy tell Brad to take it easy, though writing - "…not to worry, Brad, her pupil headed home alone."
