American Idol Bee Gees night was not a hit with viewers. Fox's medical drama 'House' matched its American Idol lead-in for the first time Tuesday night. Don't get too worried American Idol fans the show still posted the strongest ratings of any show Tuesday night. The four finalists averaged 25.5 million viewers, according to ratings released Wednesday afternoon. But the show should understand this is what happens when there is sub par performers.

| American Idol Ratings Low: But on Idol Elimination Night One Voted Off |
How bad is it - While Fox's "House" was tops with 21.4 million the next hour Idol's sometimes direct competition "Dancing With the Stars" pulled in 16.9 million to ABC to witness the ejection of Billy Ray Cyrus. But tonight is elimination night on Idol and one will be voted off the show. If it is Blake - and the Bee Gees are never mentioned on Idol it might help ratings.

Common sense all points towards an ouster for Lakisha Jones. The up and down performer was down again last night and since Blake is the last man standing - we may again see that tonight. As pointed out by American Idol guru Shirley Kennedy, he may be this year's Kat. And remember Katharine McPhee shocked the world last season this very week. She sent Chris Daughtry packing. Will Blake send Jordin packing? Or Melinda?
The results will be here as they come in - check back for updates. Jordin Sparks is safe - as is Melinda Doolittle. Blake will beat box for at least one more week.
Lakisha Jones is going home.
