Angelina Jolie has long expressed that she wishes to live outside of the United States.  Just recently in an interviews, Brad Pitt, the unmarried father of Jolie's children, hyped New Orleans as the couple's favorite home.  In an interview Pitt told the New Orleans Times-Picayune in a phone interview from the Czech Republic.  "It has an energy like no other place. You guys shouldn't change a thing. I've got to get me some of it. I absolutely love it there. We moved our family there. We've got a place there and we're intermittently going back and forth. We're in Prague now because of work. We'll be back there soon."

That must not have set well with Jolie.  A report from Actress Archives cites "eyewitness reports" that claim Angelina and Brad had a battle after the premiere of 'A Mighty Heart' at Cannes this week.

They have tried to play off as the happy couple of late, despite reports of stress and strife in their relationship.  According to the report the witness happened to overhear a conversation after the premiere that claims that  Jolie and Pitt were fighting because Jolie wants to buy a house outside of the US but Pitt isn't interested.

An insider who reported to have seen and heard the couple told dailysnack.com, "After a low key dinner with Jolie's co-stars, she and Pitt retired to the tranquil Le Bellini Bar area, by the entrance of the Hotel Du Cap. But after only five minutes or so, the atmosphere between them seemed to change."

Continuing: "Jolie explained to Pitt she thought they should buy a house in Monte Carlo, but he was not at all happy about it. He said he was 'tired' of all this jet setting around and just wants some time to stay in the States. As soon as he had made his point, he headed off to bed and left her alone before she got chatting to a couple of producers. It all seemed a tad uncomfortable to say the least."
