Paris Hilton has again been sentenced to serve 45 days in jail for her repeated probation violations. Now people are taking sides as the issue of the celebrity incarcerations has become quite the polarizing topic. Celebrity justice is it served? Actress Archives notes that some people feel sorry for Paris Hilton, while others were happy to see her behind bars. With the release of Paris Hilton after just three days in jail, and now with her tearful and screaming return some people are overjoyed, while others believe it's a case of justice not served.

Whose side are you on? Team Hilton or Team Judge what's his name? Conservative flame thrower Ann Coulter is on team Hilton: "I think the judge has Judge Ito disease, he wanted to get his name in the paper and he succeeded. And everyone around her, everyone involved in this case is not going to have a story to sell to 'Inside Edition.' I think that no one disputes that anyone else ... a normal citizen wouldn't get 45 days in this case. Even Nicole Richie, who isn't a normal citizen, didn't get a sentence like this."

Another conservative that backs Paris is Don King. He told TMZ Paris is ""what America is all about." Don King has said he wants to give Paris a hug and is looking forward to "telling her I love her."
Duane Chapman, star of A&E's "Dog the Bounty Hunter," says he gave serious thought to making a very unusual plea to the judge in Paris' case after hearing of the 45-day sentence. "I was going to offer to do the 45 days for her," he says. "And if anyone hates jail, my brother, it's Dog Chapman." Dog's prescription for punishing Paris? Putting Paris under "Dog Arrest" and having Beth give Paris a stern talking-to about drinking, driving and life.

Whacked Sopranos star Steve Schirripa (Bobby) comes from the other side and had some advice for Paris Hilton in her newfound freedom -- "Stop being a whore!" Outside the TRL studios yesterday, Schirripa gave this special message to Hilton on TMZ cameras: "Stop whoring around Paris, behave yourself, you got a second chance!" Okay then.
Presidential candidate John Edwards found himself drawn into the debate and tried his idiotic class warfare out. When asked about Ms. Hilton’s release on Thursday he said, “Without regard to Paris Hilton, we have two Americas and I think what’s important is, it’s obvious that the problem exists.”
And of course Al Sharpton has already gone hard against Paris being released. Sharpton said, "Though I have nothing but empathy for Ms. Hilton whom I have met and appeared with on Saturday Night Live the night I hosted in 2003, this early release gives all of the appearances of economic and racial favoritism that is constantly cited by poor people and people of color. There are any number of cases of people who handle being incarcerated badly and even have health conditions that are not released."

Personally - I don't really like Paris, but she is getting the shaft from an ego driven judge. Unless he can show that he has treated other offenders like Paris - he's nothing more than a grandstanding idiot.
