AfterEllen certainly can do as well as Maxim this year. Lindsay Lohan was the top in the Maxim hottie list and quickly crashed her car and is now in rehab. After Ellen snagged the 'L Word' star Leisha Hailey as their top hottie, she edged out Angelina Jolie and now the Showtime sweetie is frightened she has ignited a feud with Angelina.

The Hot 100, compiled by the readers of lesbian website AfterEllen.com, saw the gay star voted in at number one, ahead of Angie and British beauty Kate Winslet.

She tells the website: "Wow, I don't even know what to say. I hope Angelina's not mad at me. I have to say this really makes up for the time I was on the Homecoming Court in High school with my boyfriend (yes I had one) and he won and I didn't. So thanks to everyone. I'll try and keep up my hottness."
Best guess is Angelina will be quite cool with passing on the crown. AE reports: How is our list different from Maxim's? Eight of the top 10 women on our list aren't mentioned anywhere on the Maxim list (Angelina Jolie and Lena Headey are the exceptions), and only four of the women who made Maxim's top 10 (Jessica Alba, Scarlett Johansson, Jessica Biel and Lindsay Lohan) appear somewhere on the AfterEllen.com list.
