Would they make a cute American Idol couple? Celebrity website TMZ.Com asked if Idol winner Jordin Sparks and runner-up Blake Lewis were an item just last week. They were spotted getting cozy, holding hands and smooching so naturally the queries popped up in the gossip world. That was enough to pose the query even though it seemed a bit unbelievable.

So what is the anser? According to AOL music, the answer is - no. In an AIM interview with Jordin, she was asked the question and the budding young star set the record straight and told us once and for all if she's dating her finale mate.

The report: "No, Blake is one of my best friends, but we don't see each other like that," she says. "Yes, we hold hands, but we DON'T see each other that way. Yes, he's cute, duh, [but] he's also 8-9 years older than me. He's like an older brother."
