In the past year, the fabulous Katie Holmes has sat front row at all the hottest fashion shows and taken on a sophisticated new look for herself. Now she wants hubby Tom Cruise to follow her lead. Life & Style Weekly is reporting. "Katie thinks Tom is the most handsome man she's ever met," says a pal. "But she wishes he'd dress a little younger and hipper."

The magazine suggests that Katie wants Tom to look as glam as she does so that means bye bye to the ill-fitting stuffy suits and so long to those preppy sweaters.

And she's already enlisted pal Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham – who helped Katie, 28, into a style icon – as her partner in crime. "Posh has the ultimate fashion sense," the pal tells the weekly entertainment magazine. "She's agreed to help Katie transform Tom."

Katie's first goal is to get Tom, 45, out of his classic duds and into more modern clothes. She also wants to help him get a bit leaner to suit his new style. "When Katie gets done with Tom," predicts the pal, "all the men's fashion magazines will be vying to put him on the covers!"
